Peter Woolf
Well established in the tax advisory, corporate financing, restructuring, and managerial finance areas, Peter Woolf holds responsibilities as Interstate Asphalt Corp.’s Chief Financial Officer. The Broward County, Florida-based oil and energy industry company is involved in the ownership of terminals in the mid west that facilitate liquid asphalt transactions. Peter Woolf’s responsibilities involve assisting the company with diverse accounting, tax and operational planning functions. He helps arrange equipment financing and other forms of financing, as well as provides the company with annual financial planning assistance.
Prior to taking his current position in 2008, Mr. Woolf spent two years as Consultant with the nonprofit Junior Achievement of South Florida, with a focus on financial and ongoing activities. Since 2009, he has been involved with the organization, which helps students gain real-world work and training experience, as Director and Treasurer.
Mr. Woolf spent 29 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Partner. Overseeing the firm’s full range of financial services, he specialized in accounting, tax assistance, and the restructuring of public and private multinational firms. He also facilitated mergers and acquisitions and helped companies secure robust financing through bond offerings.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Mr. Woolf completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Leeds. He subsequently pursued an MBA with a focus on Accounting at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Peter Woolf maintains an active community presence and belongs to the British American Chamber of Commerce in Fort Lauderdale. He is Treasurer and Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County and held similar responsibilities with the British American Business Council from 1994 to 2005.
